Be a steady source of hope for youth and families in East Vancouver

Your monthly gift helps Inner Hope provide practical support, mentoring, housing, and spiritual care for young people and families living with the ongoing effects of intergenerational trauma.

The need is ongoing, and so is healing.

East Vancouver families, many of whom are indigenous, are still carrying the effects of colonisation, residential schools, day schools, and child welfare systems. These harms have fractured families, disrupted cultural identity, and contributed to cycles of poverty, substance use, instability, and disconnection. Many children and youth grow up feeling alone, overwhelmed, mistrustful, and unsure that a different future is possible.

Young people shouldn’t have to carry historical trauma. They should be surrounded by care, opportunity, and relationships they can count on.

Your monthly gift can provide the consistent care that allows youth and families to be known, supported, and encouraged over time as they journey toward healing.

Your monthly gift helps Inner Hope stay ready.

Inner Hope Youth Ministries has been walking alongside youth and families in East Vancouver since 2007, building long-term relationships marked by trust, compassion, and cultural humility. Each year, we provide support, life skills, housing, and spiritual care to more than 250 individuals.

A monthly gift does more than fund today’s needs. It helps Inner Hope plan ahead with confidence, grow services responsibly, and respond quickly to urgent situations. Recurring support makes it easier to sustain mentoring relationships, provide advocacy and transportation, host family gatherings, maintain housing stability, and create opportunities for spiritual and cultural connection.

Growth, trust, and healing take time. That’s why we call our monthly donors Friends of Hope. Friends of Hope are part of a community committed to the kind of faithful support that strengthens Inner Hope’s sustainability and enables lasting change.
